Would return to this hotel on a self catering basis only.

Pool was lovely. Free pool towels. Had a fun arcade. Frozen cocktails were also lovely but a bit expensive. Room was nice, lovely big balcony, big bathroom with good shower. Had a fridge and good air con.

We were bed and breakfast only.Breakfast was horrendous, absolutely mobbed, could barely move. Food was not good. Couldn’t finish what we had on our plate, ate out for breakfast the rest of our stay.

Short stay with the family.

Last minute reservation since we decided to stay in Torremolinos for few days. Lovely pool area, many different spots to sunbathe even the hotel was fully booked. Tropical vibes, nice poolbar with nice staff. Real holiday feeling. Room was okay, small but clean. Very family/child friendly hotel. Location was 10/10.

Horrible breakfast! Lots of options but very low quality unfortunately.. Way too much people, felt like we are at the airport. Terrible, hard bed without top mattress its like sleepping straight on top of the bed springs.

Exceptional staff, and super levels of service.

Staff excellent and professional. Food was way above my expectations based on other reviews. Whilst restaurant busy it was managed with precision. My first visit and will prioritise this hotel for future regular visits to Torremolinos.

Previous occupant must have left the balcony door open for long periods as was bitten regularly by mosquitos. I will take a repellent for next visit

Wonderful

Very huge massive hotel. Hundreds of rooms. Spacious room with balcony and a view of the sea. Comfortable and efficient. Could have more plugs! Swimming pool is equally huge and crowded. In front of the sea, great for a stroll by the beach. Staff super friendly. We booked half board. Food was not as good a other similar buffet dinners we have experienced in the area. Vegetables and cold table dull and repetitive. Food doesn't always look cooked fresh, but it is so crowded that I guess they do this best

Nice basic family holiday :)

We really enjoyed our holiday at Sol Principe. I think the main issue we had were that every single one of the outdoor pools was absolutely freezing, meaning our little boy was unable to go in them which was a shame. Also only 1 bar being open in the main hotel, not near the children’s pools (which I understand is because the hotel wasn’t full). The food was ok, definitely not the best all inclusive we have ever had but always good salads, fruits and staples and breakfast was nice. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and hard working, the restaurant staff in particular bringing our regular drinks over by the end of the week which was nice :) also only 5 mins walk to the beach which we loved. Overall we had a nice break and gorgeous weather.

Decent stay

Room, especially the bathroom is oddly designed. The shampoo bottle wall mount is way too close to the shower so it's in the way when showering. The bedside lamps are way too low so you can hit your head quite often if not careful or just sleepy. Facilities are nice especially the gym for a hotel, restaurant is always packed during meal time. Lots of family with little children running around everywhere

Great location.

Lovely staff, very clean hotel, wasn't expecting much from buffet breakfast but it had EVERYTHING including fresh omlettes it was very busy but there was staff everywhere to keep it running smoothly.

The walls and ceilings are like paper, i could hear peoples taps running in bathrooms beside us and above us! AC didn't work but we didn't really need it as wasn't overly hot(thankfully) the cleaners at nighttime in the bar kept mopping the floor, that wasn't dirty, but they left it wet and i don't know how someone didn't slip on it and the smell of bleach was very strong from the mopping is was very off putting when your trying to relax.

A big hotel but confort is medium

Good placement Food is clearly not the best. There is no chef in the cuisine. Food is like fast food level, a bit better. Bed is really hard, not for people with back pain
